blistr gifted me mega man the power battle. I remember playing this for the first time on the mega man anniversary collection. It was surprisingly fun to play and actually wasn't a slog to play through with all the characters.

My fever went down earlier and then came back after a nap. Now its gone, but my head still hurts and my body aches. I get on and off sore throat and occasionally have to clear my throat. Idk if its the flu or a head cold Im struggling with. Ive been loading up on fruit, veggies, ibuprofen, vitamins, garlic, and emergen c. Seems to be helping. Ive got pedialyte in the fridge too Im saving for tomorrow. Ive slept most of the day too.

Yeah my wife supplied me with all the goods I listed thankfully. Shes sleeping next to me now and told me to wake her up if I need anything. She works from home too so I feel a lot better knowing shes her. Its these dang body aches that are so terrible cause I cant get comfortable lol.

Damn, that sucks. Make sure to stay hydrated, Gatorade and Powerade help a lot. Make sure you get the kind with actual sugar though, the diet kinds don't help as much I've found. (They'll help tons with a hangover too) ELECTROLYTES

I've somehow managed to stay "healthy"...I use that in quotes because I spent all last week eating non stop junk food and staying up all night. Today was first day back to work and...ouch haha, now I gotta do it again tomorrow?! Gonna be a tough week!

@blistr just gifted me with a couple Generation Zero DLCs (specifiically the Tactical Equipment Pack, Soviet Weapons Pack and US Weapons Pack). I greatly appreciate it and for the kind words as well.

I used to be like about 15 years ago, burning the candle at both ends. Now I usually get about 6 sometimes 7 hours a night, depending on what time I fall asleep.

I usually get a good 6 hours easy...but lately since Christmas, just been getting it in small increments. Pissing me off really...lol..especially since I have to be up in 2 hours to start getting ready for work.

One big bout of insomnia I had many years ago forever ruined my body clock.

I could rely on sleeping pills and my doc has recommended them multiple times but, I really don't want to become dependent on meds for longer sleep.

On the odd occasion I used sleeping pills I found the sleep wasn't the same. I wasn't waking up feeling as refreshed as I would normally.

4-5 is on average how much I'll get on school days. Which I'll be getting back to in just over weeks time... Not looking forward to it.

I am a sucker for fast-paced action oriented games that require some degree of mastery of the game to fully complete. That is why if you view my Steam page is just mostly me playing FromSoft titles and soulslikes (and trying my damndest to get all their trophies), FPS's and... Tekken.
I realize Outer Wilds DLC is the odd one out there, because it was the one supposedly "chill" game that blew me away this year and I have heard nothing but praises for the DLC. I heard it's quite horror-inspired and my favorite planet in Outer Wilds happens to be Dark Bramble.

Reason for the picks :

Rogue Legacy 2 - Was a big fan of the original and poured countless hours into the PS4 version of it. This was one in early access for a while. Whilst I have no aversion to early access titles, I wanted to wait until the final 1.0 release was out and about. If improved from the original, it'll be a stellar game. Rogue Legacy is up there with the likes of Dead Cells and Binding of Isaac for me in terms of quality.

Cult of the Lamb - Really pleasant / pleasing on the eye artstyle. Some screenshots were shown back during one of the earlier topics in the chain as the game had been gifted to someone who was quite enjoying it. Having done some good research on it, looks like a lot of fun.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands - From falling through a glitch in the floor to repeatedly raid General Knoxx's Armory, to kicking Crawmerax's arse (after a repeated arse kicking of my own), to hunting with Hammerlock and seeing Ellie in bikini armour (lol) during Tiny Tina's game of grief and how can I forget, many a bloody pub brawl in a campain of carnage. Borderlands is a big, BIG love of mine. Borderlands 3 disappointed me which led to me holding off on Wonderlands. Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is one of my favourite DLC packs of all time. I went into BL3 with high expecations and was let down, going into Wonderlands with reasonable / tempered expectations seems like the best bet.

From Asymmetric, the creators the original website based MMORPG The Kingdom of Loathing (An Adventurer Is You) and the "non website based", "non MMORPG" game West of Loathing, I select Shadows Over Loathing. In search of answers to the great questions of the universe, like how many enemies can you stuff into a phone booth with the athletic Pig Skinner? I'm doing this one for science!!
