Before announcing the winner, here are some notable entries: @synklare Solid list of roguelikes, good balance of genres. Unfortunately I'm not a fan of Borderlands (FPS give me motion sickness) so that took points away from you. @blistr Also a solid list, with a good explanation and good games. However, for me the list is missing a bit of a connection, a leitmotif of sorts bringing everything together. @KainWind Respect from managing to put Elden Ring in there while also adding a couple extra games that feel interesting enough so that they are not just filler with whatever money is left from the main game. @GameGodofAll Good list, a lot of variation and good titles. You made me discover Overboard, which looks supercool and I didn't know about. I could see this as a "best of modern indies" actual bundle. Very good list, it's just that unfortunately there were better ones. @Kain_Highwind This was too hard for me not to give an instawin. I admit, this my bias speaking but I love Sonic Adventure 2. And I can't say no to a list which unapologetically asks for the entire Jester collection, no questions asked. DoesntMatter 01/05/23 11:38:31 AM #495:	as this year's event comes to a close, i just want to say that these giveaway events are one of the absolute best things about this board, and you all are so generous to complete random strangers on the internet, and that is a truly wonderful thing. sometimes on this board it can seem like everything is an argument and everyone is always so combative and just trying to get a gotcha on everyone else, but these threads truly are a bastion of community and camaraderie which has endured through some trying times, and i believe will endure for a long time thanks to the spirit of generosity and selflessness that you all embody. i feel so inspired, being part of a community that holds an event like this and truly goes all out with it. i only wish that i was able to gift as much as i receive. i hope i will be able to in the future. but regardless, it's absolutely wonderful to be able to be a part of this community and to be receiving of the generosity of the people here. honestly, my family has not been doing very well financially lately, and the games i was gifted as part of this giveaway were the only gifts i received this year. if it wasn't for these threads, i would have received no gifts at all. so i would like to personally thank @synklare, @dummy420, and @blistr, who gifted me some excellent games, and @AceMos for the keys, but not only you fine folks, thank you to each and every one of you who gifted anything to anyone. you guys and gals make this board still worth coming to. --- It don't matter.
