Current Events > Anyone else hear gunshots and fire works last night?

From 11pm last night up to even just now people are still shooting off fireworks near by. Last night I could hear semi and hand guns going off too. I get that theres a fire works store down the road, but the guns was an odd one. Ive lived in this area in Missouri for a few years now and dont recall people using guns to celebrate.

This is actually one of the few years I haven't heard fireworks. Surprised considering how nice it was after it stopped raining.

Spent da night at my brothers house in North County. Sounded like da opening night of Desert Storm.

I heard fireworks and several emergency vehicles drove past my apartment

No guns. Fireworks are supposed to be illegal inside the city. But every year, people do it anyway, and the cops don't do anything

One of my mom's dogs has a panic attack every time and has to hide in a closet or under a bed

Years ago my family lived in a neighborhood where it sounded like a warzone on 4th of July and NYE. That era taught me to hate fireworks

Not that I heard...But the last guns that were heard were cops shooting at cops...so that's something.

whenever someone says they hear gunshots in a metro area I assume theyre wrong because they almost always are

We had a bullet come through the window.

Yeah, there were gunshots like there always are on New Year's night, but there were less than there had been years prior.

Ive never heard a gun in my life. Good thing I dont live in America

Literally next door.no real guns though but they had a airsoft gun fight. I'm sure some real guns got shot around here though but not to celebrate.
