I was home schooled from 5th through 8th grade and honestly compared to public school I loved it. I was a bit socially clueless my first year in high school because of it but not to the point where I was socially stunted tbh.

I was also in a Montessori school from the 2nd through 4th grade so most of my public school experience was high school l.

No, I went to public school for elementary and middle, then a private military school for high school.

Out of curiosity, was your family very religious?

No I am probably more religious than either of my parents as I actually do go to church now. They were pretty secular.

My sister actually ended up being homeschooled her last semester of high school and doesnt have a real diploma. I was in college at the time and my family was kinda falling apart due to a divorce. Kinda a weird time though I was no where near it lol.

Ah. I was just wondering as there's a strong preference for home schooling in some christian communities.

I did end up meeting some really religious kids early on. At first my mom was just tryinggn to make me have as many friends as possible but some of these parents did not support the theory of evolution or global warming. It didnt help that this was Indiana. My friends at the time were pretty liberal and atheist. Im not even that religious but I do go to a United Methodist church near me a few times a month.
