Won't spoil the name of it since that would spoil it to an extent. You go through the whole thing and it's like, "I can definitely see why someone would decide to kill him."

Even at the end of it, where everyone is supposed to feel sad and reflective about the truth, the people weren't too shaken by his being murdered.

Poirot?
Nah, it was one of the "Hunt a Killer" boxes. I like to do them from time-to-time. This one was in my backlog for quite some time, so I decided to just do it by myself.

In the classic style Agatha Christie whodunnit murder mysteries, the victim is usually someone very unlikeable. This was kind of a rule she went with, because it allowed a sort of detachment for calmly sitting around solving the case instead of being super broken up and freaked out over the murder.

The other aspect is this, if the victim is "too likeable" why would there be 4 or 5 people potentially who'd want to kill them? It's not really realistic. So either they can be likeable, and the sleuth uncovers potentially unflattering aspects of their character, or they begin as neutral/unlikable.
