First game with a Destroyer deck

Oh wait my Jubilee deck has Onslaught not Spectrum. I had him in there, but I think he only does anything for Devil Dinosaur so might as well just use Hulk

Yes, if Leader reveals second he gets all the boosts. This is why you basically should never play Black Panther or Gamora on the final turn if theres any chance theyre using Leader

Got Agent 13 now. All Im missing from pool 2 now is The Infinaut, Iceman and Leech.

Get priority with good cards and Dino then use either Leader or Aero to win turn 6.

Death is only here because of the rock location right now. She gets turned into 1 cost after rocks are destroyed so copying her with Moon Girl is silly.

So many people expect a 2nd Dino on turn 6, nobody is expecting Aero. With priority there are so many games where you literally can't lose on turn 6.

Why Lizard? Feels like with the power potential youve already got, you could fit a card with better utility in that slot.

It's hard to beat Lizard in terms of getting power on the board early so you can get that early turn priority. Aero is pretty good for keeping him at 5 too.

Yeah the whole goal is trying to get priority going into turn 6 and Lizard is the best energy to power ratio for 2 drops. If they fill his lane before turn 6 that's honestly a win because I can probably Dino the lane to swap it back to my side.

I've never seen Lizard losing his power in this deck so far for what it's worth.

Tried playing a Discard deck for a bit just to get through a seasonal goal of discarding so many cards

but I don't have Hela and without her I swear this deck is useless. And even with her I feel like it's too random.

Also idk what the chances were but in at least 8 straight games playing the deck I just never drew Ghost Rider

I'm having a lot of fun with the Lockjaw/Discard deck I'm running! I get the randomness aspect though. If my luck is down it's unfortunate to play.

the thing is I'm not even against randomness in decks. I play a lot with Jubilee and have won matches plenty of times by betting on like a 1 in 3 chance

but given the nature of discard decks it's randomness that, if it doesn't play out just right, it seems to sabotage everything

IDK what happened but I swear 90% of the decks I'm running into today are basically identical to the Devil Dino deck I'm running. I found this deck online but it was like tier 2 or 3, not a top deck or anything. I wonder why I'm running into it so much now.

Basically went from 50 to 60 today just playing that Dino deck. Final game was an 8 cube win where Leader was unable to lose. Leader and Aero are still just too OP.

The only decks I was losing to consistently was Zabu decks but you just leave those for 1 cube loss.

Finally Galactus has appeared in my shop. Now to pin him and play the waiting game

Me: *plays Mr. Negative, Iron Man, and Wolfsbane on Muir Island, Angela on empty location*
Opponent: *retreats*

You couldve only played Angela and Negative and I wouldve retreated there

really its usually strategically better to hold 0-costs anyway! Though with the Peak they could have a 3-cost Leech I suppose

With Muir Island giving every card +1 each turn, having Iron Man on the location would have made the numbers go stupidly high.

Plus, that setup would have given me so many cheap cards I would have had a full hand very quickly if I held onto cards.

Ive done a fair amount of badmouthing Hela but I have to say I do like this Agatha Hela deck I made. Played against a Negative deck with Dark Dimension active. Agatha played Moon Knight to DD which I rolled my eyes at, but then I realized they were going to play Magik elsewhere which meant I could sneak Hela in there on turn 6 and still play Hell Cow and Lady Sif on turn 7 first (I Waved Agatha onto the board on turn 5). First time I can think of that I cleanly beat a Negative deck that got basically all their best card draws, other than with my own Negative deck

Oh no a Destroy mission again. Time to whip out my Pool 1/2 Destroy cards for a little bit. Got Leech so wow The Infinaut and Iceman really going to be my last two and theyre two of the best in the pool. Ah well it will be nice to be heading into Pool 3 soon-ish

Whats a good deck for win a location with less than 10 power?

Stuff with Storm or Professor X could get you them if you can lock one down early enough. Nightcrawler or other movers/spawn types like Squirrel Girl if you get the one location where you cant play any units since you can just move him there. Thats what I usually end up doing.

Alternatively you could just be winning a location after turn 1-2 and retreat for it to count at the cost of 1 cube each time lol

Your own retreats dont count for that unless it is after Turn 3. If the opponent retreats early it does count for you though

Really just dropping Negative + 0-1 of those makes the opponent more likely to be willing to play it out. You would lose some matches to leech but overall you'd make a lot more cubes.

you'd get 4 cubes from his counter snap though already right? you can try and keep your opponent pacified a bit but that seems fine to me.

Yeah, I got 4 cubes out of it. Plus, I rarely get the chance to totally steamroll the board like that, so I enjoyed it while it lasted.

X-Men location sure likes to fuck me over. Enemy gets a 6 cost card and I get a 2 cost card (Multiple Man) with nothing in my deck that can use it :(

My worst X-Mansion lucked happened when I got Ultron in my Galactus deck.

I had to retreat when I was winning all three locations because I literally could not play anything.

Once Sakarr pulled Ultron out on turn 1

If they hadnt snapped immediately I wouldve waited it out in case I got all 3 of Patriot/Mystique/Blue Marvel, but I didnt feel like risking it

When Zabu gets played on the field that doubles the ability it has and your deck has no way to disable it. Ended up retreating because 0 cost for 4 cost cards is uh yeah seems like a free win without any cards to counter it

Zabu can't make them cost less than 1 ftr

Well it does say (minimum 1) so theyre not ZERO cost <_<

Realistically, a Zabu deck isn't gonna have TOO TOO many 4 cost cards because if they don't draw Zabu they're basically screwed.

well if you run psylocke and sera you can play one on turn 3 and 2 on turn 6 as well

Lol I decided to throw Quake into my disruptor deck and accidentally stumbled upon funny synergy with Storm to bait a strong card followed up with Quake to lock in a completely different space later on.

1 Red + 1 Onslaught + 1 Mystique is 3 Red = 12

But Onslaught and Mystique also double each other so 3 Red becomes 6 Red = 24.

Same thing is happening with Iron Man, it's doubling 6 times 12 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 768.

In the past I believe it would have been 12^6 instead of doubling 6 times so you'd get crazy million powers.
