It's gotten to this point, huh? Personally, i'd just give anyone caught buying, or selling that shit unregistered a dime, and be done with it. Looks like another thing that only hurts people buying them legally otherwise.

Really sick of hearing about minors being killed in cross fire in chicago. I know it's a rough place, but did al capone stand for BS like that? On such a scale you could not keep the cops on the take.

How much of this violence has been stopped by people with assault Weapons?

Now I completely agree that we as a society should focus on illegal fire arms on the street however I think people like you would hate that. You need to illegal fire arms to justify the whole "good guy with a gun" narrative that has no proof.the

I'm pretty sure the law has very specific definitions on what is and is not illegal. Especially when it comes to firearms.

Well since were already on it, hope you guys know that the AR does NOT stand for Assualt Rifle.

Yeah it's pretty stupid. But it's all part of the playbook. They know that the AR-15 and ALL similar patterned rifles aren't the issue, but they know it's the easiest to convince people to agree to a ban.

And then, when nothing changes, it'll shift to pistols.

I'm sure this will work in one of the strictest gun control states just how all the other gun control laws have been so effective there that they just keep having the same amount or more deaths by guns.

Half assed American gun control attempts dont work because you can walk to another state and buy a gun. Gun control that isnt National is completely meaningless

Its a matter of semantics, but personally, I wouldnt call a semi-auto rifle with fancy plastic furniture that is functionally no different than a 80 year old hunting rifle an assault weapon.

I'm glad only law abiding citizens will be effected by this and not the criminals who illegally aquire their firearms

So what if russia or china invades? Im no conspiracy nut but makes me wonder if they want us disarmed so we cant fight back. Meh no worrys i did my time don't need a gun to fight foreign invaders. I've learned guerilla tactics.

theyre cool little guns, but unless you want to go full A-Team with one and make it a cool mantel piece with the stainless steel and folding stock, they really arnt worth it. AR15's, despite being less "classy" are just better in every way.

although they do have a way of hilariously getting around AWB's, so maybe you should try for one.
