I recently learned that my brother had been sexually abused when he was a child and goddamnit, how many people have been abused? The more people I talk to the mor I hear about it

Cause the former, no, not really.

The latter? Like every day.

In my younger days working as a waiter women would quite regularly grab my genitals.

Yeah. I used to work at an interstate rest area. One of my responsibilities was to just patrol the property and make sure everything was ok. So one night the parking lot was basically empty. So I went to the men's room and was surprised by a guy masturbating at one of the urinals. I assumed I surprised him too, and that he'd just leave... But he didn't. I guess he was an exhibitionist or whatever, because he kept waiting in the rest room for me then starting again.

I told him that he at least needed to use a stall. So later I walked around the corner to him standing naked in the stall door. At that point I told him to leave and he did.

But he came back a few nights later and it was the same thing over again. Then I found out that he had been visiting every night, but he was waiting for me specifically to do that again. I threatened to call the police, hoping it'd scare him off, but even that didn't work. So it happened like 2 more times and I did actually call the police each time, but he was gone before they arrived.

So the final time, I was checking the vending machines and someone pulled up next them and called me over asking for help. So I stepped over and it was him with no pants on, masturbating in his truck. I told him to leave or I'd call the police again, and this time I got his plate # and type of vehicle. I went inside and called the police... But figured he'd be gone again. So instead of staying inside like a smart person, I went into the bathroom. As always, he rushed in after, except this time he cornered me in the back corner and dropped his pants. He kept insisting that I do things to him, I kept him at arms length, but if he got closer I was ready to fight.

I didn't want it to come to that, but I figured it was going to. Fortunately someone else entered the restroom and the guy ducked away into a stall and I retreated. Of course the cops showed up after he left. But I gave his info and they looked him up and showed me his driver's license info and I told them it was him. They went to his house and woke up his wife looking for him, she said he was on a business trip. Apparently he'd just go stay at a hotel and hit up places like my job to do that.

I transferred to a different site, and still had panic attacks if I saw a vehicle that looked like his.
