Probably Burnaby for me as I have family there. Although I wouldn't be opposed to East Van, New West, or Coquitlam.

Probably Ontario. Or Nova Scotia. I enjoy the option of being able to go to the States for a day without paying out my ass for it. Right now in Newfoundland we pay double if not triple the cost of flying than anywhere else in the country. Can't get around it, we have no way off the island outside of the ferry which is garbage.

hawaii would be my second choice too.

My fantasy is living on a vineyard in France. Sounds really pleasant.

Maybe Hawaii. Or some other tropical island. But maybe I'd just go with Hawaii so I still have access to the internet. Some of those other islands are very remote

I would build me about a 23,000 square-foot house in the middle of nowhere Wyoming, and just hunt and fish every day. Invite the family and friends in for the holidays, but the only time youd see me is if you come up there

If money was no object I'd probably bounce around for a good bit before settling somewhere.

Honestly, I'd probably just move to one of the more expensive parts of LA. Like Palos Verdes, Malibu or Bel Air.

Right where I'm at. I've never lived more than a mile from the house I grew up in and I can't imagine living anywhere else. Parents have twenty acres of land and I'm right beside of that. Huge creek flows through the property and there are tons of wildlife around. Love to fish in the creek and go canoeing.

My dad has several nice buildings full of tools and stuff. Can literally build or do anything. Has a nice welding machine, wood working tools, tons of random stuff. He actually sawed the lumber for the largest building himself with a saw mill he installed.

Tons of trails through the property and it's just amazing. I could never live anywhere else.

125 miles to the east, permanently renting* out my father in law's beach house.

*: Pretty sure he'd only ask for money for like, the months where he would actually rent the house. Ain't nobody going to the beach in 10 degree weather lol

Id have a few different places so I could bounce around doing what I like.

Likely a nice subrub not that far out of states and citys with a large international airport so I can vacation long distances at cheaper prices without having to deal with god awful layovers.

My city is a backwater one who's gate is usually very far from the more popular city's in larger airports. Making the walk pure hell.

I'd get a place on a small lake somewhere here in Ontario or possibly B.C.

Then a place somewhere in South America so I can fuck off for the winter.

I'd stay in the Bay area.

I'd probably live somewhere rich like the Oakland Hills, Danville, San Ramon, Alamo, Los Altos, Atherton, or the San Mateo hills

Somewhere up in the highlands of Scotland.

If I can't move my entire family Id just live in a super nice place in my same town I always lived in. Id just vacation here and there. Id love to live a place with no real winter, but family is far more important.

I grew up in that area and im kinda glad i moved to the valley. Dont miss the city at all. I dont miss spending an hour or more driving 14km to and from work in vancouver.

That said, might be nice to have a condo in vancouver to spend weekends or whatever if i had the money but i wouldnt move.
