I have chronic social anxiety and agoraphobia so I only feel safe at home. Since I left high school I mostly just stay inside playing video games, watching movies/TV series etc. but i'm worried as i'm nearly 30 years old i'll never get a girlfriend or have a 'normal' life if i stay this way and die like this.

Very recently yes, because expenses are getting tight af.

Id rather be inside constantly, but I have a dog and not taking her outside would be cruel.

Doesn't work force you outside? It forces me outside, every weekday.

I'm extremely introverted but when I stayed home almost the entire pandemic working from home and living alone I thought I was legit going insane.

So I'm a Hikikomori? It says there's half a million living in Japan so I'm not alone atleast although they're lucky they can live in Japan. I wish i could live there and get a Japanese gf.

Do you mean outside as in around other people or outside in general? My favorite thing to do is go hiking, either with a group or by myself. Sometimes just being out in nature is relaxing and helps you center yourself. That might be a way to clear your head sometimes, just go to the nearest park or trail that doesn't during times when people are less likely to go to it. It might be a way to pull yourself out of your comfort zone without going all in.

Even just being outside in general I find terrifying in case i might have to interact with someone. If i'm with someone i know like family i'm not as bad but still not great.

I only go outside for like 1 hour a day to walk my dog.

Before my current lifestyle I had to be outside for like 8 to 12 hours a day. It sucked most of the time.
