Dikitain 01/16/23 1:45:25 PM #2:	In theory if you don't get it off, your PTO should account for that and give you an extra personal holiday so you can take it off if you like. If you have it off the company is really treating you worse because it is forcing you to take that day off as opposed to choosing to or not. Like when I had it off (and Presidents Day as well), I only had two Personal Holidays for my PTO, instead of the four I have now. I have just as much right to celebrate that great man's legacy as anyone. you aren't concerned with MLK, just that you didn't get the day off.
