I've put a staple through my finger before at work. I wasn't even drinking.

And I'm talking about one of those big staple guns that run off compressed air. It went right through my fingernail and then folded over. The doc at the ER had to use plyers to unfold it before he could pull it out.

Not me I love em. Wised up fast too and made them not give me so damn much. I think it's fucked they give you like a months supply when the pain goes away after a few days.

All I got was Tylenol 3 which was enough for the pain but nothing like oxy or percs.

I wish they had gave me some good shit but oh well.

Severe night sweats, absurdly violent dreams, zombie brain, and it did fuck all for the actual pain.
Plain old ibuprofen was way better.

I'm actually glad I didn't get anything good.

I can enjoy doing opioids every now and then, but if I came into an actual supply of them there's no way I'm not gonna abuse that and become an addict.

Obviously I'm already an addict. But the drink will always be my main thing.

I learned that I'm not actually an addict. I'm heavily dependent. I don't actually seek them out, which is apparently what addicts do

I do that for caffeine and nicotine

This is how I became an addict though

My grandma was 80 when she died, and she was doctor-shopping like mad until the end.
As far as anyone could guess, she was either hoarding pills, or forgot where she hid them.

And there was no reason to hide them at all, because she lived alone.

Why stash em though??? I remember my neighborhood friend had a mom who was sick and one day he showed me TRASH BAGS filled with pills. I'm thinking back now that not all of these are prescription.... Back then I just thought "Okkkkk she's really sick"

Some of them just get all their meds filled whether they need them filled or not all in bulk. Put the others away use the new ones

I went to a college that provided most of the textbooks. The minor upside of that is being able to buy outdated ones for cheap.

I ended up working there after after graduating, and every year I worked there I'd end up buying a couple dozen outdated textbooks with my employee discount.

@Smackems You have BF 5? I beat the story missions and played a mulitplayer game and kinda got into it. Turns out i'm a crack shot with a sniper rifle it's fun to just lay in the weeds and blast idiots running around not knowing where they're going.

My Skyrim kid got abducted yesterday. Apparently she was hanging out with the girl whose mother runs the produce kiosk in Whiterun and she followed her home and got locked inside their house >_>. I had to lockpick half the city to find her, but now she is home safe and I gave her a new dress that I apparently stole at some point.

Skyrim does have Skooma, but I've always equated that to heroin, not meth. I suppose it could be a representation of any/all hard drugs in context though. I think in this case though it was just dumbassery on the part of programming. There is a town ranting drunk and a chick who is working with drug runners to learn the business with the hopes of breaking into it herself, but neither of them were involved in this situation. The drunk is just annoying and sometimes rants next to the religious zealot and I married the wannabe drug runner on my last character and she chilled out after that and never tried to traffic either kid even though we lived in the middle of nowhere and I was gone for days at a time, so it seems like her character is decent, she just wanted to make money, and I had plenty when she married me so her sketchy business ideas must've fizzled out. I have over a million and a half gold on that character. She's got nothin to worry about lol.
