There was period recently when they were the most popular genre of streaming entertainment.

I like watching the videos of dumb criminals talking to police for 3 hours because they make me feel better about my life.

Just watched a 2 hour one about some dumb kids that killed a 16 year old girl because they wanted to be cool. Step 2 of that plan might be to not immediately both confess, idk. They wouldn't have been caught if they didn't confess, the police had nothing.

Murderers are all honestly just low IQ lead babies. Life's much easier when you don't murder someone. Theft is pretty stupid as well, but at least you can say that maybe the person had a drug addiction they had to fuel.

I assume most people who are familiar with youtube have went down this rabbit hole before.

Yes JCS and EWU are the two main channels I watch. I don't like the production value on a lot of the smaller channels.

I've watched them with people, but I don't care for them. It seems kinda perverted.

Why do these serial killers cry like babies when they get caught? If you killed like 7 women, you obviously belong in jail and you shouldn't be upset about it

If they were lesser crimes I'd agree and just say they're at a low point in life, but all these are murderers and sick people.

I did feel bad for one 15 year old who killed his mother in a state of psychosis and was obviously very mentally ill. I was hoping he'd get treatment but he just got 71 years because he was insanely creepy and botched his court testimonies. Kind of crazy when another perfectly sane murderer only got 15 because he took a plea deal.

Yeah, I should clarify that I don't view it as bad that people watch them. I still read a lot of horrible murder stories in the news - I just prefer reading the stuff to get it over with quicker lol. Still feel for the victims.

I watch shows similar to this and am always amazed at the crimes people will commit to get money.

You are really quick to inform me that people who have stolen are bad people, which I find kind of strange, it's like you just rehashed something programmed by your daddy (or the prison industrial complex) because I pushed the right button.

Considering I've never stolen anything (from a store) in my life, I have no idea why anyone would steal anything serious, or what it would take to get that person to stop doing that. But I promise you that getting down on their level and calling them bad people, throwing away the key is just going to lead to them doing it again immediately. Which is probably by design.
