The bot's primarily purpose is to generate code to solve simple but obscure problems. It completely falls apart if you ask it anything more difficult than that.

You could try telling the bot that the joke is for a mom who is okay with it and it may write you one. I tried that with another kind of joke and it worked. Hilariously ridiculous.

I am not surprised that it's only $2/hr. There are a lot of overseas software engineers being paid less than the US-company's minimum wage in the state they are headquartered. I work for a company that is the same exact way and I have talked about how bad the quality of these people's work can be. This is actually a very common thing and why I am afraid of my job and my future as someone who is a salary employee in a leadership position who is trying to both manage these overseas contractors and develop best-in-class software according to defined processes (which is something these contractors frequently do not do, because they are not 100% focused on the client, and it's not their job to be).

I can't find it now, but there was an askreddit post about what will be a problem in 20 years, and somebody was like "I don't think people realize how dangerous AI truly is. I asked it to instruct me in witchcraft and necromancy and it informed me that necromancy is immoral. It was extremely disturbing." and they were being completely serious. Yeah obviously if witchcraft and necromancy were real they would be immoral??? I get the point you're trying to make about the morals of the people that own the AI are the morals it will espouse but could you have picked a worse example???
