I got two gs

defence and HP regen are good cheap ones to get. Just one or two levels of those each. Vastly increases your survivability and if you make a mistake then after a few moments its all good

and then +1 projectiles, atk speed and DMG. Extra projectiles is OP as fuck. As is atk speed

Offensive skills (Especially +1 Projectiles) and Exp Gain. The whole point of VS is to build synergies that are so strong you don't need defense, although they're are good later game synergies that make defensive strategies more viable.

Save up until you get the thing that gives you +1 projectiles all the time. I think it costs 5000 gold if you do it first?

I erased my progress just to see how far I could get in the very first run. Made it 20 minutes before the DPS dropped off drastically

I got the dude with garlic. Made it to 25 min mark in the library. Shit was wild

In the early game I found the axe to be the most useful because the upgraded version is really strong at clearing lots of enemies.

Late game everything is basically garlic, holy water, and pentagram

I feel Garlic is only good early game.

Yeah garlic falls off hard later when it comes to actually doing damage. You'd be better off using Laurel for shielding purposes once you unlock it. Also I think Bible is a good weapon to have, once you get some levels on it you get some good protection with damage added too.

Which character is good for noobs?

Nah when you're at thousands upon thousands of eggs garlic becomes a screen wide AOE nuke.

My first instinct was Poppea Pecorina, but I dunno if Dairy Plant is all that noob friendly.

Aw man, I just had my first deep run over in the library at 29 minutes

finally beat a run! That was crazy. I had evolved blue and red wands, evolved axes, pentagram, and , and bibles. I was untouchable. Made it 3 seconds on death before he killed me lol

Yeah red death is an instant kill on contact without a specific build/item

I found that the pushback gets kind of annoying because it prevents you from killing enemies faster depending on whatever other weapons you have. I figure by the time you get deeper into the game you don't really need it because you're killing things faster than they can touch you anyway. But hey to each their own, right?

How are you supposed to kill death?
