OK. Back on track. The story on record is the man smashed through glass doors and woke Paul up while looking for Nancy. Paul told him she wasn't there and the man said he'd wait for her. Paul said he needed to use the bathroom and called 911 on his cell phone and left the line open while asking the man what he wanted, what he was going to do, etc. loud enough to be heard over the phone.

This brings us to what we see in the video... it seems the terrorist was taken by surprise as he didn't realize Paul had been able to contact the police.

My assumption is that the man was told by Paul that that may have been Nancy at the door, and the man, not being the most stable of individuals, let Paul answer the door.

So him having a drink in his hand really isn't all that far fetched, as they were waiting for a while, and Paul was smart enough to remain calm through the whole situation, knowing there was zero chance of him overpowering or outrunning the man.

Youre acting like the man was chasing Paul around the house, swinging the hammer at him. Thats not what was happening UNTIL the police arrived and you see what what was in the video.

If Paul Pelosis story is accurate, from the time between the man entering the house and the attack you see on the body cam, there was NO physical altercation.

You seem to be having a really hard time understanding that, or you are purposely being obtuse.
