Imagine if person A has harassed person B so much that B was able to successfully get a restraining order against them. If after receiving that restraining order person A hopped online and started badmouthing person B in such a fashion that person B was able to see it, would that be a violation of the restraining order?

Cause Duncan has been modded several times because of the harassing dms he used to send gunplagirl, has been moderated for lying and misstating the extent of his harassment against gunplagirl, and has been banned because he jumped onto alts just to dm her after she's already blocked him. So Duncan entering a topic specifically about the person he's been banned before for harassing multiple times just to talk shit about her seems pretty similar to the very same behavior he's exhibited in the past that's got him banned before, and I really don't see why the site's admins should wait for him to escalate it before deciding to take action. He's clearly not learned his lesson, so why not nip that shit in the bud before it blooms into more harassment and insults?

Now see it from my perspective: The only times I've EVER seen Duncan getting modded was for dumb as hell political comments.

The same user who he's been harassing is a known liar, who has made up shit on such a regular basis that anything she says I immediately assume is a lie. Same user that called me a transphobe based on absolutely nothing, and has also blocked me for saying she should really apologize in a topic she made MOCKING THAT SHE WASN'T GOING TO APOLOGIZE FOR(what she said was abhorrent). Something she was modded for.

It's hard to trust anything from gunpla because she's done everything in her power to make sure no one should.

Hell, blocking isn't even comparable to a restraining order. There's a user who specifically unblocked me so he could mark my posts and accuse me of stuff I never said - and it worked! Am I not allowed to speak about him?

Well spoken. People don't feel like they can call him out on it or call it harassment because he's on the spectrum, which seems to be a catch-all for bad behavior, so people who do speak out (like gpg) get shit for it

Its entirely possible for a user to say abhorrent things and for that same user to also be harassed over their gender. They arent mutually exclusive.

Yeah, I didn't see that. But I've seen users that I've blocked make alts to bug me. Hell, gunpla went on her alt one time to pretend she wasn't gunpla and kept saying she was innocent(and to troll) in one of my topics despite blocking me. It isn't THAT big a deal to block someone twice honestly. I just don't get how she didn't block his alt immediately. It's what I'd have done in the same situation if someone was doing that to me and I didn't want to speak with them.

And I sure as hell wouldn't care if they were talking about me. Hell, I'm almost positive the two users who I do have blocked has talked about me. I don't see that as harassment, despite the shit they've done to earn their block. And given I never block anyone...that's a lot.

I'm not saying that Duncan didn't probably PM gunpla and say some dumb stuff, he likely did. The stuff he PM'd me about isn't the same as the stuff I'd PM people.

However, I don't think it was as bad as gunpla would claim. Nor do I think it would be anything mod-worthy. But I do think it's definitely block worthy. And I do think he didn't deserve the moderation.

I thought the conversation I was having with Slayer was fizzling out though I'm open to continuing it. (On that note, honestly man... I think you take stuff too personally... and I say that as someone who also does that and is equally guilty if not moreso). On the other hand, I have no idea what that other account interloping there was about. Was that really another Duncan account? I didn't even read the deleted post. I saw my name but I don't know what that even was. I was just trying to catch up.

The important thing, and again, this is specifically to Slayer... I think you and I have had a pretty serious misunderstanding of each other. I feel like I'm starting to understand you better now, which is good, but I feel like I'm not communicating back as effectively, and I would like to. The conversation earlier in this topic was not meant to be an argument. I brought up something from a while ago and it was an observation. It seemed like you took it as a personal attack. This goes back around to the idea of taking things more personally than they are meant to be taken, which again, is something I'm very guilty of myself.

Nothing I said last night was inaccurate or false. At the same time, none of it was an attack against you. I was explaining why you and I didn't get along, even before those "disappear" comment trivialities, and I say trivialities because to me, that's what they were. I made cryptic comments one night. ONE NIGHT. Caps. One night. You were upset by those comments. I acknowledged that, and it wasn't the first time I have said things casually and offhanded that have caused a more negative result than I intended. It's difficult for me to understand that, because 90=% of all backlash I get here for anything I do is 100% based on shitpost trolling. When I've genuinely upset someone, I'm not quick to believe it because I've seen so much trolling that everything looks like trolling... and until the conversation you and I had the other night, I had assumed you were trolling too. I do not believe that now. I think I get you more based on that conversation and this topic more than I ever did from anything prior, and I think that's why you and I don't get along. I think we have similar personalities and we don't trust each other and we are quick to judge each other over the most basic things.

You were angry with me last night because I continued the word "harassment" and you felt it was unfair. Okay. It's a term defined by the site and was used back then when our initial issues happened. Maybe I should have been more sensitive in regard to word choice, maybe just parrotting that word was not ideal. The fact of the matter is that your issues with me over "disappear" comments were preceded by you giving me a hard time as I described in my posts last night... and those were not hostility posts. They were "clearing the air" posts, as your mention of Calypso reminded me of why you and I clashed initially. It is what it is. I have meant what I've said since you and I started talking the other night, but having done wrong by you with some of my past comments does not automatically exonerate you for past comments about me. It's a two way street, and I would hope that you could recognize that so that we can move past this.

And for the record, I do feel like our conversation last night, even though frustrating to me, was healthy and useful for getting perspectives out in the open, unfortunately, there were a bunch of trolls jumping in, but that has nothing to do with either of us, so I'm hoping we can continue to just ignore that shit and sort this out without annoying interference from that.

I wasn't upset by anything you said. I just thought it was creepy, but not upset. I don't like being associated as a harasser, or with harassment, which I EXPLICITLY didn't do.

Your observation with me is incorrect. I'm friendly with EVERYONE I can be friendly with. There's only 2 specific scenarios that I'm not:

1). You've tried starting shit with me/made comments to or about me I didn't like.
2). You did something I deem fucked up, something I deem reprehensible and continue to do so/refuse to make up for it.

Otherwise at most I just say dumb snarky comments, shitposts, or be friendly with everyone. I also forget things like any normal human. I also am down to put differences aside, man up, and apologize if the other side wants to compromise(provided it's something you actually can apologize for. Not forgiving fuckin' Hitler lmao).
