Its gonna be a cash grab where they cut out half the game.

They've been reassuring nothing gets cut, and it actually seems like they're straight up just adding stuff while improving existing content, from what I've been hearing.

Resident Evil's art direction is really good at making regular people look creepy. Like in 7 even before Mia disappeared she was already creepy looking as hell.

Why change it at all? Are we still using the "you see small breasts are realistic, nobody in real life has bigguns after all" nonsense?

Anyway, the most offensive part of video I saw was the ugly rain effects. GTA Remaster tier rain.

We are getting so much info holy shit

I'm very torn. I want to save money, and I have other games I want to play. However, RE4 is too fucking good. I played that so much on PS2. I have nearly every other remaster or release outside of the GameCube. I don't know if I can wait for reviews or for a sale. GreenManGaming has a pre-order discount of 17% right now.

Yup a demo that starts with Ashley, probably ending at the cabin fight/ 30 mins.

Basically OGs 2-2, which is perfect cuz it displays practically everything about RE4

- Access to a variety of weapons at this point
- Access to p much every enemy at this point except Chainsaw Man
- 2 shops on the way to the cabin
- Nighttime. A way to showcase the bigger emphasis on survival horror and the new stealth stuff
- New Ashley mechanics
- further in the game where individual setups will be different by this point in the game
- Cabin fight to showcase the new action stuff fully

no its always been there. castle is way too long so its easy to forget parts of it

The maze is missing on easy mode (as are a few other bits) so its entirely possible Shrike didnt see it in his play through if he played it on easy.

Was completely unaware the game outright removed some segments on easier difficulties, so that's new to me. Huh.

Ive beat the game so many times and had to look it up. Yep, he missed the maze and several knight sections

You might have been playing on easy mode. I remember you dont need to go into the maze for some of my playthroughs but most of the time, i had to go in there.

Leon is looking kinda jacked in this game

It's been clarified that there are still some QTEs in the game. Ashley may also be able to hide in dumpsters, there just weren't any in the part they played.
