One of my mods had an archery tournament and I thought myself clever for figuring out that I could fuck around and distract my opponents while they were taking their turns, so that they would fail to even shoot a single arrow within the time limit. I still lost. As it turned out, the mod was programmed for each opponent to be granted a specific score each round automatically, so they were completely irrelevant and my success depended solely on my ability to beat the lowest score each round (and in the final, beat the score of the final opponent). This disappointed me, but I get that they wouldn't have any other available way to program it, and I got it done in the end. The bigger issue was the player score not updating in real time, so I wasn't sure if I was hitting the targets, but after learning that, getting my aim set and just trusting my shots even when I had to hit a target 4-5 times before any of the hits were confirmed (and they would be confirmed all at once on a delay), I was able to win pretty easily.

There's a game breaking bug in that but I can't for the life of it remember what it is.

TC if you do use it, make sure you follow each step of the quests as intended and do not deviate for any reason, save before you zone in ofc.

I thought it would be yknow just about rebuilding Helgen

I just got through the portion where you need to "test" each of the six recruits for guards by going through a labyrinthian dungeon with each one individually and it was such a slog.

Then after doing that I had to figure out why the lumber shipment to the town was behind

And it turns out the lumber guy sank his money into a nearby fighting pit and I need to go win his money back or else he won't send the lumber (Yeah it doesn't make sense to me either) so I go to the pit and the interior is so sloppily arranged with tons of backtracking between each fight

I just stopped playing the questline and went and did something else. I have no idea why this mod is so renowned.

Never played that mod, but I did watch a playthrough on youtube and it really does over stay it's welcome.
