I once said "Good evening ladies, I just had a bit of a winfall, and since you're looking so bloody beautiful I thought I might buy you gals a drink, especially this one standing here in their fucking party dress."
Turned to the Barman and said "Barman, six milkshakes hey? Easy on the Ice Cream".

Anyway, the comments that they were familiar with non-Hollywood movies, turned out to be a complete fabrication, along with a couple of weeks of HR Meetings.

Yeah overall I'd say no. But if you know them well enough to feel certain they wouldn't take offense then maybe.

Like I worked with a girl that I felt uncomfortable to make any kinda sex related joke around. She just seemed the type to report you. But after becoming friends with her I did and she didnt have a problem with it. I even made innuendos regarding her. She probably woulda reported someone that she wasn't friends with though.

Sadly this started to form shortly before she left. Not that I wanted anything to do with her I just like girls that are like one of the guys.

Then I've had others I knew pretty quickly that I could get away with it and others to this day I just maintain a professional relationship with.

If you are bad at reading people best to just play it safe. I used to be bad at reading people and used to offend people constantly.
