I think the concept of ally cards are dumb to begin with. It comes off as a houlier than thou attitude that a lot of Christians like to throw around on who's a real Christian or not. You're basically casting judgement on someone without really knowing them. A person can donate a good amount of money pro-trans organizations and make changes in their work place to be more inclusive to Trans people, but they get their "ally card" revoked because they want to play a video game? I'm sorry, that's just as fucking stupid as Christians saying "you can donate to the poor and help the needy and you're still going to hell because you don't believe in God.".

Kinda weird the devs put a trans option in a game that only a transphobe would buy.

Many trans people have asked their online community not to purchase the game to avoid supporting her.

If you feel "guilted" from those two facts, then that's guilt you always had there.

I don't feel guilted by it, heck I'm not even a Harry Potter fan my wife is. But anyone with a brain knows that telling someone they aren't a true Trans ally because they bought a video game is the same as trying to guilt them over their purchase. I've been on that side before, it's a manipulation tactic that a lot of Protestant Christians try to do to convert others.
