Current Events > 'Tunic' is driving me crazy, in a good way *spoilers*

So I finally started this game a week ago, and frankly I'm amazed at how much progress I've made without consulting a FAQ. This game is the epitome of "figure it out for yourself, dumbass"

Still, I can't recall the last time a game made me feel such a sense of accomplishment for figuring things out, even with what little (and INCREDIBLY vague) hints the game does give you.

I'm so close to endgame (I think...), but am getting exhausted trying to solve the last few puzzles.

I'm still missing 3 out of the 12 Treasures, 2 of the Lost Souls, and am currently working out how to open that damn Door in the Mountains.

I know that the key is by finding the inputs hidden in the pages of the Manual, but for some reason I just cannot figure out what the input on page 9 could possibly be. It's the only one I haven't figured out yet.

I also don't now how to get the 2 Lost Souls in Eastern Forest, and even though I'm sure I found all of the broken slab I can't get that one to trigger either, unless there's another fragment I haven't found anywhere (I've found 5 so far, counting the base)

Just have to keep at it until I get another "aha" moment...

It honestly feels more like Metroid Prime than Zelda, in terms of atmosphere.

One area is literally just Phazon Mines.

I was really tuned in for the first half and kinda stopped caring for the second

At the very least I like this game a lot better than 'Oceanhorn', another Zelda-style indie game that I thought was pretty underwhelming...

I tried it when it first came out. Got stuck at a part in the south western part of the I think. There alligator things and little robot/statue things that would freeze and zap you.

Struggled to actually part the gator things and it turned out to just be a loop back to where I started. So I took a break, intending to go back and then forgot about it.

I genuinely love Tunic, and it's this that makes the game so wonderful. When you realize what's going on, it's like figuring out how a magic trick was pulled off.
