It kinda falls into the same kinda pool as necrophilia, where there's nothing inherently wrong with it, because in both cases the people are effectively inanimate objects at that point. It's just that it's considered societally unacceptable due to the huge "icky factor" that they used to be alive.

If consent is given, I guess I wouldn't care on the part about it potentially happening, but a world where hospitals are incentivized to keep bodies alive long term to farm humans for money is the unsettling part. Our for-profit healthcare system is the issue in this situation.
