Big fans? I barely even know who this guy is except that his gimmick is having shitton of money

He's one of the less terrible nepotism babies. From what I gather he comes from a lot of wealth. Assuming there wasn't any bullshit involved I respect how he helped treat all those blind people.

It's only recent because of the whole curing 1k people's blindness thing (or more specifically he paid for their cataract surgeries or something IIRC, I didn't watch the vid).

I find his thumbnails kinda annoying, and always assumed his video titles were just pure click bait. But from what I hear, he's actually legitimately helping people and it's not pure click bait. So, good on him.

I checked out one of his videos a while back, but I don't recall anything particularly interesting happening in that one.

It would be so cool to have access to that kind of money and could just go around helping people like he does.

it's funny, because I saw a video a few months back of a packed Walmart, with many people who stacked up their carts full of items.

one of the people working there picked up the intercom to inform everyone that Mr. Beast wasn't coming to the store.

I guess there was a rumor/leak that he was going to be there, and he's known for sometimes paying for everyone's items at stores sometimes, and it looked like everyone came out for this.

Pay to win Youtubing makes me miss old Youtube even more than sponsors and clickbait do.

First found him and subscribed to him about 5 years ago to this day, when he reached 3 million subs. I don't know how you could be IRL friends with him unless you're after his money, surely it's something he thinks about every day. But the main group of friends he shows on every video have to be real friends since they never dipped.

One of my local malls, the American Dream, had a huge MrBeast event in September for the first physical Beast Burger location. I didn't go, I also haven't visited the mall yet since it's still new, but I watched a video about that day and I'm glad I didn't go. The line was insanely massive by the time I found out about it and tbh the food at Beast Burger is pretty mid.

I only heard of him because a contestant on the last season of Big Brother had a falling out with him and it was kind of used as an assassination of that persons character prior to the season starting. Plus his sister went on Twitter and called him a racist and bully.
