Sure, beards can make a guy look older, but is that necessarily more attractive or nah?

Not necessarily. Some people cant grow a quality beard. Others look good without one.

Nope, makes you look older grandpa. Chicks will dig it while they're young transitioning from father to father figer in a young man, but you barely hit th edge of the search criteria and grow a beard you suddenly become as old as sin.

I essentially use my stubble as contouring. My so-so jaw line now magically looks chiseled

Depends on the person. I have a very short beard, like I haven't shaved for a few days. Women seem to like it on me.

I think a well groomed beard looks good. I think "hehe lets see how long I can grow my facial hair" bears do not.

I think men can also look good without beards.

Stubble is hot but full on beards are gross. If they look "better" with a full beard is because the face is bad.

If you have a shit jawline or turkey neck they can make your face seem more masculine

It is a beard, Geordi. A fine, full, dignified beard. One which commands respect and projects thoughtfulness and dignity. When I stroke the beard thusly, do I not appear more intellectual?

I dont think they are inherently attractive or unattractive to most people. I think the age thing matters.

If I have a beard and ask people to guess my age, they tend to be more or less on the money. If I have no beard and ask people to guess my age, they tend to go about 15 years younger.

Some women will want that 21 year old. Others find the 36 year old more appealing. Obviously some wouldnt be interested either way.

I'm a cue balds...kinda need a beard to avoid looking like a thumb ya'know.

Only certain beards on certain men. Using one to hide a weak chin is sad and only makes me find the guy ugly.

I can grow a beard I just don't. It requires maintenance and time consuming for my field of work it's best not to have it. I don't want to get oil base paint on it and trying to clean it off.

Fair enough, I've seen some that look like fat toes.

Not for me. When I dont have a beard, everyone comments how I look 10-15 years younger than my age.

I've grown my beard bigger now than I ever have before. Gonna see how far I can take this.

Every woman I know say yes to the beard. Yes, all of them - and I ask them.

There will be exceptions but I think it's been scientifically proven through research that a beard or even heavy stubble is more attractive than a clean shaven face especially if you're looking for a long-term relationship.

Mine grows in very slowly, and it's weak and kinda patchy if I let it get long enough. Just doesn't look good really. Clean shaven doesn't look a lot better though. I prefer just having stubble. Luckily for how slow it grows that can last quite a while.

I have stubble after 2 days, but I dont think its long enough for that 5 oclock shadow. It just feels prickly.
