I honestly used to think introverts were smarter than us big meanie extroverts and now that I have seen their pretentious facebook pages where they passive brag about being better than everyone else. I have changed my mind.

They unironically believe extroverts don't have inner dialogs where the majority of people with ADHD like me are extroverts(ans there are studies confirming it) overthink and sometimes, we need to socialize with other people so we don't get lost into the battle of the inner dialog in our brains.

When you say extroverts dont have that inner dialogue I wonder if they are talking more about the side effects of anxiety (which a lot of introverts have) which is in over analysing or second guessing every decision they make.

Needing validation, trying too hard be the center of attention, afraid of missing out, fear of being alone

I suspected something along those lines, but it's nice to see someone who wasn't sheltered growing up point out such things.

I hate being the center of attention, though. I feel like there are certain expectations and the speed at which I'm able to process information, while exceedingly fast, also tends to be relatively aimless in those situations. So the whole thing just slowly unravels anytime I'm the center of attention.

The thing is that for many people, they don't necessarily want to be the center of attention, it is an anxiety induced need for relevancy and validation. Not all extroverts of course, but just saying how anxiety can manifest for them.
