This old lady walks up to me and asked if this bus goes to (insert stop). I told her yes it does. She then said she was confused because there was two lines. Lets call the buses 1 and 2. I repeated that this bus stop for 1/1A goes to her stop. So after 10 minutes of waiting bus hasnt come but someone waiting for the 1/1A bus goes to the 2 bus stop and she repeats if this bus goes to (insert stop). And someone else chimed in and said yes. We are at the last/first stop on bus route so after another 5 minutes the bus driver turns on his bus drives it near us. He gets out walks to everyone waiting and says if you want the 1 bus get on or you can wait for the 1A which is going to come in the next minute. So I get on the 1 bus and noticed everyone at the stop got on except the lady that asked if bus was going to her stop.

Should I have told old lady this bus goes to her stop again or did I do a fair enough job to help her. And it was her fault she didnt get on. I thought I did enough and she could have just asked the authority figure the bus driver about it if she didnt believe the people waiting for bus.

A part of why I felt bad was her stop was way before the two buses go separate routes. And it was a major stop. So if she had just believed me and the other woman and got on the bus we did she would have got there sooner. Or at least asked the driver before boarding.
