Looks fun. Enjoy

Scotland is awesome. I went with Globus a while back and had a blast.

Sounds cool. I think I did some of that stuff 20 years ago on my UK trip. Like the underground ghost tour

I can't stand straight liquor. It's possible if I'm bored in Old Town though. I'll def try whatever beers and wines they got though.

Me and my wife spent 5 days in Edinburgh and even that wasn't enough to see everything. Mary King's Close is super cool and gives you a good idea of just miserable and cramped living in a city back then would have been.

The Castle is fucking awesome and you honestly kill half a day there easily seeing all the exhibits.

When you go to the museum make sure to check out the exhibit that talks about Scotland in the 80s so you can see just how much the Scots hated Margaret Thatcher.

If you are a Scotch drinker there is a cool tour called The Scotch Whiskey Experience that's fun. Gives you the history of Scotch and a walk through of the world largest collection and then you get to taste a bunch of them.

@ShineboxPhil Oddly enough there aren't really any actual Scotch distilleries in Edinburgh other than I believe Holyrood, which just opened to the public not long ago. There are a few gin distilleries though I think. Most of them are further out in small towns in the countryside. My favorite that I got to go to was Ben Nevis up in Fort William. Which is right at the base of Mount Ben Nevis, the tallest mountain in the UK. I'm gonna hike to the top of that fucker when I go back.
