MagicalPrincess 02/07/23 6:57:12 AM #4:	Castlevania 64 did that when playing on easy mode which really sucks. It ended at the castle center. Wouldn't show the character ending for arcade mode. Iirc it would just say thanks for playing next time try on a harder difficulty. Entity13 02/08/23 12:23:52 PM #14:	I remember when Touhou games used to do this, including 6 when the main antagonist just laughs at you and leaves if you play on Easy before reaching her (I think using a Coninue beforehand too, though you need to beat her without a Continue to reach the bonus stage as well). So you can't even beat the game and get the "bad" ending, let alone reach the bonus boss for the good ending.
