This is not to say he isn't funny, but there's a distinction in what he did in high life and the latter half of Rick and Morty.

Most show creators, especially cartoons, barely have a hand in the production once the show gets a few seasons in. Simpsons, Family Guy, etc. That's just how tv works.

Very rarely do the creators stay involved in the writing room like the South Park guys.

I really dont buy it. His style runs through the newest season, deeply.

I thought it was said before the latest season that they had handed off a bunch of the writing to other people?
Looking at the written/directed by credits for them, he's at least not the primary for any of Season 6 - though to be fair, he apparently lacks those credits for most of the episodes?

I read the full Hollywood Reporter story that went up to today, and it sounds like everything Roiland was involved in is not missing anything by dropping him.

He was supposedly only in the writing room up until around s3. Then he would just come in to record lines or fuck around in the office.

Damn, it seems he really needs to grow up. If he does get back into animation....maybe it is best if he stays in his booth at home...

Well, after reading the article what Hayame posted, it seems it is more than just the allegation. It is the creative differences and workplace behavior.

Well Roiland had some of his people in the office as well. So if you see Roiland, you see the like-minded individuals there.

He sexually harassed one of his writers which is literally what Dan Harmon did to a writer on Community.
