Flopping hard like the GC did. Microsoft and Sony can make consoles of the same power at cheaper price than Nintendo because they're way bigger . Wonder how Sega lost to Sony?

Nintendo is smart going into their own direction, they basically have no competition as of now.

Why bother, when Nintendo can make an underpowered tablet-ish thingy for $300-350, and outsell the fuck out of everything?

They could double their sales if every 3rd party game released with current consoles at the same time.

Nintendo just doesn't see the benefit in selling at that much of a loss.

GC lost to PS2 despite being stronger and the Wii U flopped despite being the strongest console around for a whole year. Their best selling consoles have typically been the weakest shit on the market. Power's never equaled performance for Nintendo.

Thats because they made stupid designs choices. The 64 used cartridges while GameCube used those small discs. PS1 used CD and PS2 and Xbox used DVD

GC selling poorly has nothing to do with the hardware. It was their design choices like you said. Tiny discs was always going to be a dumb idea.
