If he really cared about his party and this country, he should have the self awareness to know he is too old and no longer the best man for the job. He should try to do everything he can to lead his (ideally democratic) successor to a brighter future.

Literally no candidate would have as good a chance of beating the R challenger as an incumbent Biden so as a matter of fact it is the most responsible thing he can do

That's something Al Gore did not do.
He refused to wun on the coattails of Clinton.
It doesn't matter though Bush did Steal that election.

Yeah fuck no, it's the most responsible thing that he can do. Stay in office until Trump is too old and hopefully the party can pull out somebody who will be able to consistently win against DeSantis

Otherwise DeSantis is going to be president someday, assuming he doesn't die in his 50's.

I don't see why we would be at war with Canada.
But the other things would have been mitigated.
Also supreme court Justices.

That night set America back a long way.
