I didn't finish it. Same for Doctor Strange 2. It sucks that I might be over the MCU

Its an ok movie but the lack of T'Challa really hurt it. I know it can't be helped.

I thought it was great. Right up there with the first.

Its easily the best of this phase, in that its the only thing in phase 4 that was decent. Everything else was bad. There hasnt been anything really good though.

Not a chance. First one was a 10. Second is barely a 7 at most.

The first one was boring, no interest in the second one, even though I have Disney+

Me too. Im wondering if 10 min YouTube videos have ruined me. I look at those 3 hour run times and Im like, ugh. Im not starting that. I dont think Ive rewatched a single MCU film since Infinity War.

Phase 6 is post election, what's on the menu for that?

You didnt like No Way Home or Shang-Chi?

It was ok, definitely a let down overall though

I haven't seen BP2, but overall, NWH & Shang-Chi ended up being pretty disappointing, for me.

for Shang-Chi, most of the movie was good, and if it had a stronger last act, it would have been one of the best MCU movies, but the final act had a lot of dumb stuff going on, and that hurt the overall feel of the movie.

for NWH, it was mostly fan-service, and the MCU brand of humor didn't work well for the non-MCU characters. also, besides Goblin, the other villains felt like wasted potential, and there were too many characters, making the movie feel bloated. it might have been better if it was two movies, or a trilogy.

Do you spend multiple hours watching those 10 min videos? I kind of have the same thing with movies and shows.
"Ugh, don't feel like watching a 2 hour long movie" and then I proceed to watch episodes from a 30 min show for 4 hours....

I enjoyed it much more than the 1st one.

The third act was super weak like most MCU movies.

TBF it could've been a disaster. I still consider it one of the stronger Marvel film of phase 4 (which is saying a lot) and the fact that it had to tackle soo many stories and plot points while still at least being a "semi-decent" film is something I'm willing to give them credit for.
