Did anyone talk about this game here? It's really good!

I think they did. I talked about it with a lot of people in general.

I don't think so. I beat it a couple weeks ago. My thoughts were basically: everything about this game is well done and comes together perfectly, but I don't think any of the individual elements are exceptional. Ended up being a game I just liked rather than loving.

That's fair. The game isn't always perfect (not a huge fan of the platforming physics), but those moments where everything 'clicks' are more than worth any downsides. Also really love the aesthetics.

does the music ever start to get annoying? it kind of gives me this game is going 100 all the time vibes

I dunno if I'd call it heavy rock. Most of it is original songs for the game. The music never really annoyed me, and they often slow it down in slower sections

It's that kind of game, yes.

It's like Devil May Cry meets Viewtiful Joe. Tango still has a bunch of ex-Clover employees and Shinji Mikami was the executive producer.

It's real good! I'm not really the type of person to play and replay these character action games but it's a tight experience and a blast, even for someone like me who is bad at them. It doesn't overstay its welcome either.

Still though, you can tell they had to drop a bunch of stuff, there's clearly parts where they are joking about cut levels or bosses. Really hope it gets a follow-up where they can iterate on it.

This feels a lot like what No Straight Roads really, really wanted to be, with a sense of humor that any Borderlands game wanted to have.

As in, it does both of those things way better. Wish it were on another console.
