There's this thing on the left where they name and shame and try to blacklist people, so it ends up creating this weird environment where leftists who are just as extreme but are against the grain have to hide their opinion or enjoyment of something like they're witches in Puritan times.

Like, it's better than the death threats and intimidation of the right, but not by much.

I think being thought of as "not an ally" is a far cry from threats on one's life.

I'm on the side that it's funny >_> Bitch has like $900 million in net worth anyway, so whether this game succeeds or fails, I doubt she'll even feel anything from it either way. But people are still breaking their backs and obsessing over it nonstop from both sides. It's just a magic game, bro

Those admins are employees and likely have to ban things on the site whether they personally agree with the decision or not.

What they do in their free time is their business and may not align 100% with what the site is doing at the time.

Can we really compare it to porn, seeing that it got a legal age limit?

He's an admin for ResetEra. ResetEra has said that the game promotes JKR and people shouldn't get it because they're supporting her and her transphobia.

To remain consistent, ResetEra would kick him off, as it makes them look like hypocrites by saying it's problematic and supports her transphobia, while their own staff plays it.

I don't want this to happen, but that's how it would remain consistent.

Honestly, I can't really say if its hypocritical or not. Just because you don't want to talk about a game doesn't mean you don't want to play it. It could very well be a company employee type of relationship where the heads of ResetEra wanted to ban al discussion of Hogwarts Legacy but he didn't agree with it, etc.

I think the funniest take away from that screen shot is them only having .4hours into Forspoken lol.
