unfortunately the company that made the game doesn't make video games anymore. they just sell online currency.

Why is the PC version such a shit port though, for real? Crashes so frequently that I legitimately couldn't get passed the Halloween mission, running in compatibility mode like I've seen suggested on Steam forums is supposed to help, but can't enable gamepad controls in compatibility mode, needs an unofficial patch just to fucking run properly.

really? Ran fine on my machine with no crashes, although i was using a 2070s instead of my current gpu, maybe it didnt ply well with certain specs?

Bits and pieces of the sequel were leaked in recent months. Rockstar worked on it for a while before cancelling the project. A lot of concept art exists online as well.

kinda sad that these new open world games dont make any effort on npcs that you could mess with

Only way a sequel is even getting off the ground is if:

1. Open world
2. "Bully bux" to customize your high schooler and all that shit for every "semester"

I dunno man, I mean my laptop probably isn't anything special (i5 10300h, 1650, 32 gb ram), but it's plenty good enough for games that look a lot prettier than a 360 game lol. Although I am running on Windows 11, maybe that's it. I know a lot of Windows 10 users complained about the crashing too, so maybe it just doesn't like the double digit versions of windows lol.

It would be a fun game to play online.

Each server can be a city with several schools. Have academic games, sports games, and gang games with leaderboards and rivalries. Your actions determine your clique.
