Theyre a thing in the comics but I have no idea. Ill just be annoyed if the Conquerer variant only lasted one movie.

I guess I was under the impression this Kang guy is "the new Thanos".

He is, but a big part of the threat of Kang has to do with the fact that almost all of his variants are trying to do evil shit, so you can't get rid of him by killing one variant.

hmm. that sounds like it could be interesting, but could also turn into an Age of Ultron bash-fest.

Yeah, I'm interested in seeing how they handle it. We're apparently supposed to see different Kang variants in multiple TV shows and movies moving forward.

That was stupid as hell, but I liked the fist fight between him and Ant-Man afterwards.

Yeah as said above, they announced Kang Dynasty. I get a feeling Kang will be in that one. Wouldn't surprise me to see him pop up, even for a couple scenes, in GotG3.

Loki 2 will also heavily feature Kang

They did make his death nebulous enough that they can bring him back with any BS explanation, but still. Im hoping this is the version of Kang well get in Kang Dynasty.

Why would people even think Kang is gone? Did I miss something? He went exactly where Scott had just been.

He's 100% gonna return and with at least a 4+ Infinity Stones level power boost. That's why his suit was basically useless here.

Yeah, Kang was kinda downplayed in Quantamania, despite having amazing feats all the way until the very end when they had to come up with some BS way for Scott to win. Realistically, there's no way Scott should've survived this movie, and I was really looking forward to seeing him get a good death.

The fact everything resolved so nicely with a bow on top really broke my immersion.

On paper, making Kang debut in an Ant-Man movie is pretty genius just because of how large scale Kang is compared to how small scale Scott is. But they really didn't pull it off.

I wouldve been very happy if they killed off Ant-Man. It wouldve immediately made Kang a detestable villain and it wouldve began Phase 5 with actual stakes.

I thought Kang was super lame and disappointing

He goes from a humanized character of "I gotta do what I gotta do" to a pompous British sounding Saturday morning cartoon villain

He's untouchable and has total control of Pandora, I mean Quantam Realm, and he loses it ALL from one speech from Cassie

Has incredible telekinesis and fighting ability at first but then doesn't fight back and gets wasted by a Deus Ant Machina

I was very disappointed to see the post credit ending. Such a lame character is now the arc villain? Horrible intro and I have no idea why they didn't pick Galactus or Scarlet Witch.

Theres no way that Kang is dead.

They can kill hundreds of Kangs and still have more to use.

I came to the conclusion that it probably would have been a much better movie if it starred the Fantastic Four instead. Not that I hate Ant-Man or anything, but I feel like a villain like Kang just doesn't quite fit the tone of an Ant-Man movie and it minimized his threat. Jonathan Majors absolutely killed it, but dude already took an L to arguably the weakest of the superpowered Avengers.

Now if MODOK was the primary villain of this movie and by the end of the movie, we learn that he was working for Kang, that would have worked a lot better. Or even if Kang was still in the movie showing up sparingly but MODOK remained the primary focus.

While he was enjoyable, if I have to watch a Sam Wilson-lead Young Avengers consisting of Shuri-Panther, RiRi, Cassie, Ms Marvel, & Kate Bishop, I don't know if I can roll with that, dog.

My exact train of thought was: "Yeah, Scott's gonna die," to "Oh, okay, Scott and Hope and just gonna be stuck in the Quantum Realm until like the next Avengers movie or something; heroic sacrifice and all that," to "Oh, there's no consequences to anything at all in this movie, huh. Okay."

Actually, hold on...Kang needed Scott because he needed his Pym tech, but like...he already had Darren, who also knew how Pym tech worked because he made the Yellowjacket suit, right?

Also, how does Kang not have Pym tech already? Isn't he a super genius from way in the future? I feel like Pym tech should just be common sense for someone like him, alongside Stark tech or anything else we see in present day MCU.

This is the 2nd time a kang told us why he is awesome instead of showing and then died

Presumably the materials for Pym particles arent available in the quantum realm.
