Yeah, it was confirmed last year that this was a live service game.

Yeah pretty disappointed with that. Definitely going in to that with lowered expectations.

Suicde Squad Kill the Justice League looks like fucking wet dogshit. I don't know what the fuck WB was thinking greenlighting this thunderous piece of shit but they clearly were high as fuck. Literally the worst things in modern gaming rolled into one package. Can't believe this is the next big DC game that we're getting. Holy fuck man

Suicide Squad looks like another Anthem and Avengers. Same gameplay loop and everything.

Such a shame going from chatty goons who get scared of your presence when you show up with a wide variety of ways of dealing with them to a bunch of dozens of purple guys with no personality who shoot laser guns.

The only thing good about this State of Play was seeing Cammy's juicy ass. RE4 Remake looks fantastic but we already know thats going to be a 10/10

This is why I go into State of Plays with low expectations. Sony explicitly tells people what's going to be in these. I knew there would be 5 VR games, indie and third party stuff, and 15 minutes of a game I wasn't interested in at all. But I was still surprised by some stuff in it because I wasn't expecting hallmark Sony IPs or anything.

Mid as usual, but fine for what it was advertised as.

Playstation VR2's first year lineup looks pretty dire yeah? I thought there'd be at least one major game. Instead there were 4 indie sci-fi shooters and a VR remaster where you can use your eyes to control? That's the best they got to set the stage for the rest of the year?

I was quite looking forward to Suicide Squad, but honestly that in depth look has made me less hyped, not more.

I was pleasantly surprised about the Baldur's Gate 3 release date info, and of course, Resident Evil 4 Remake is looking great.

Have you played either of the Divinity Original Sin games? Plays kinda like that in combat. BG3 has far less emphasis on environmental effects though, they are still there just not as prominent.

Also I'm reserving judgment on the game a bit. The whole reason why I didn't like Avengers is because the gameplay loop was incredibly boring. From what I've seen at least Suicide Squad looks a bit fun with the movement tech.
