Laptops generally have their fans located on the bottom, so your blocking the flow of air, which causes it to heat up faster than it should. So until manufacturers find a way to completely eliminate moving fans, just use a table or night stand and put some space between your laptops fans and the surface. The larger number generally is better, but each of the companies use separate naming conventions. So it won't line up like that between the 3 companies. But if you're just looking for 1080p gaming, that's pretty easy to hit. For the GPU, you can get by with like a 3060 (Nvidia) or 6600 (AMD). My Asus messed up because I use it for EVERYTHING 20 hours a day.
