I'm in an underground facility in an area that definitely feels like the tutorial. I'm honestly loving it so far.

Gameplay is very fluid and you can pace yourself depending on the style you wanna play. Fast paced melee and guns, stealth, etc. I'm more fast paced melee, though guns for bosses(love the shotgun in this God damn).

Story so far is interesting. A 'Soviet Utopia' sorta deal, though things aren't feeling like what they seem.

Graphics are gorgeous imho. Enemies get battle damage based on where you hit them(if you hit their face, their face peels off). The characters look really good, outside your dude(he looks weird, can't place why).

Sound design is nice. And music is kickass. But that's what I expect from Mick Gordon.

Robot twins are probably the greatest thing ever and I'm in love.

I also rather enjoy the different abilities. Definitely reminds me of Bioshock in all the best ways. But I'm still early on.

My biggest complaint though? The main character is way way way way too quippy! He won't shut the fuck up with the quips. Some do make me laugh but come on. Shut it sometimes.

Another neat little feature: anything you put between your crosshair that is in Russian, is translated to English.

So far I'm really enjoying it. I don't get people saying it's bad, I'm having a blast.

I hear after an incredible first hour or so you get dumped into a generic military base that loses all the creativity and charm and it just becomes a combat grind. Plus since you can unlock whatever you want in whatever order you want there's little incentive to mix up combat.

I just couldn't get past the MC talking. It was way too much for me, every time he talked, my mind was just on repeat "Shut the fuck up shut the fuck up..."

I'm a few hours in and I'm in some underground facility, still enjoying it. The game has nice lore and a story for everything that's honestly unique and interesting.

I feel this. Sometimes it'll get a chuckle out of me, but not often enough.

Just got to the free roam area, I think. A bit tired but I'll play more when I get the chance. This game is kinda stressful sometimes lmao. Though I love just obliterating stuff with the shotgun.

I enjoy the shotgun in this a ton, very meaty.

Now robots can shoot mortars at me.

Okay, so I just cleared out the museum.

Lemme get this straight.

Left's soviet star turns into a Unicorn horn and cuts open Right's abdomen and they she pull out a weird item from Right. Then they do another weird ritualistic sorta thing to separate the item to become 2 keys, then they do this weird one legged tilt to use the keys to summon some weird red polymer monster that dissolved the political dude who wanted an excuse to take over Kollectiv.

And it's likely P-3 murdered everyone in that room.

There's definitely an 'would you kindly' sorts deal going on here between Sechenov and P-3, huh?
