Overall, I loved it. There's a few things like the And I've only recently watched the movie for the first time, and the book pairs so well with it. I'm very glad to have seen the movie first, because those portrayals were so strong, that I feel like they enhanced the books. --- Trying to burn the bridges to a culture that taught us to hate and fear and live like cogs in a machine and not like lovers, friends, and kin. ... My favorite bit of trivia about the movie is that scene at the beginning with Luca Brasi being super nervous to deliver his good tidings to Vito. The actor in question was supposed to just deliver the line normally, but he was that nervous to be acting in front of Brando. Like, Lenny Montana almost definitely was breaking legs for the actual mob at the time but this was massively intimidating to him. --- http://guidesmedia.ign.com/guides/9846/images/slowpoke.gif https://i.imgur.com/M8h2ATe.png https://i.imgur.com/6ezFwG1.png ... Yeah. That's why we get the scene of him flubbing his lines as he's rehearsing them. It was forced method-acting. Brando supposedly intentionally riled the guy up too. ... Copied to Clipboard!
