I know of 1 dude who is going to get fired next month. He is just a co-worker, not a buddy or anything. Also, know that if you tell the dude he could run to HR and say that I told him he was going to get fired... So...

if their employment was still salvageable i would say what i can to let them know they gotta step it up.

Its not smart to get into that middle of that at all. Its none of your business. And it can have blow back on you.

They are planning on doing a mass lay off next month. I only know of 1 for sure... I would like to tell the dude but I cant risk getting my ass canned either... so.. >_<

yep i've worked in fields where we have very sensitive information about customers. someone could do something very very stupid if they knew beforehand if they were getting fired and then could link it to me. the company i work for has dealt with something like that recently. i'm shutting tf up.

This. It could absolutely come back to you and cost you your job.

I wouldnt. The number 1 thing you have to learn about work is protect your job at all costs because this is your money and nobody else will give it to you but your work.

It seems like the right thing to do to me.

It's funny how employers want two weeks notice before you quit, but give no notice at all when you get fired.

This can easily bite you in the ass if it gets back to you.

That's really the unfortunate reality here. So if you do, keep the above in mind as it can possibly cost you your job as well.
