It just bothers me that every time I see someone sneezing, there's multiple people that are compelled to say bless you. What is even the point? Who are you to bless someone? You're not a priest or a pope and certainly not someone I know. What if the person is a satanist or from a completely different religion/culture? Then saying bless you would be the equivalent of telling someone trying to lose weight, that they should eat more cake. Not only is it presumptuous behavior, but you have to pause what you're doing and thank them back. I've always found this process to be incredibly encumbering. So I'm thinking to myself, what can I do to make this behavior tolerable for me? The short answer: I'll say Satan curses you to die. ... Copied to Clipboard!
