Making my way towards getting my vasectomy but the appointments are just so spaced out!
Took over a month to see my doctor and it won't be until almost the end of this month for a consultation. I really thought this appointment was gonna be the surgery. Hopefully it won't be another month+ for the surgery.

anyone have any experience? The doctors have given me lots of information to make it all seem easier and make me less nervous.

I do suffer from the great mystery that is morning wood quite often and I'm scared I'm going to wake up in pain. My sex drive can be a little high, so I'm wondering if the first few days may be rough.

I had it done several years ago. It really wasn't that big of a deal and didn't hurt at all during and was just a little sore for a few days afterward. I just sat around on the couch and watched TV and had an ice pack on my junk. :)

You get it tested after several months, and it is like 99.9%. So while you may be technically right, this is also basically misinformation without the details.

The vast majority of people who get someone pregnant after a vasectomy are people who had sex within the first couple of months when sperm can still be alive. User error basically.

I think the info my doctor gave me said something like you have to release like 20 times before all the sperm gone.

it's possible they mess up.

they showed that on scrubs.
(they have multiple medical consultants, it's a thing that can happen)

also condoms when used with the pill and a diaphragm is still probably not as high as a vasectomy or tubal ligation.

and most people only use one form of Birth control.

you Cant take minuscule odds and turn that into a giant argument against something.

the odds are not zero that I could get run over by a pack of stampeding elephants on the Fourth of July at exactly 12pm during a hailstorm.

but welll you get the idea.

the only remaining question is if you get the reference?

saying something isn't 100% is now a giant argument against it.

The problem is that was your only contribution with zero actual stats or details. It's basically fearmongering whether you meant it that way or not.

My vasectomy was a godsend after my divorce, as I already have 4 daughters.
