No one needs it, but I want it especially for things like Steam games which I've seen max out my gigabit.

Amen this is exactly what it is. I will probably always be on their cheapest plan because I understand that anything more is basically pointless for me.

The problem is 95% of that bandwidth is the "download" side which is kind of worthless after 150mbps.

They still cap upload at like 5mbps which is where I really need more but they refuse to ever budge higher than that.

Apparently they dont want any money since they refuse to expand their coverage area to get new customers.
