Psychonauts 2 was due to how Playstation handled upgrades compared to Xbox. In order to have a native PS5 version a port needs to be developed. PS5 patches for PS4 games were limited to the same graphical settings and resolution of the PS4 Pro version and capped at 60fps. Xbox let developers patch Xbox One games with better graphical settings, resolutions and 120fps support. Same thing happened with Warzone and a few other games. --- A Fallen Mascot ... Of course sony wants to block their acquisition If they don't, it's not just gonna be about call of duty. Call of duty won't mean shit in the long term, even if it's guaranteed until the ps10. If this acquisition goes through, Sony will be losing out on not only tons of cod money, they'd be losing access to a lot of third party games they would have previously relied on. It also change the landscape of the market. If anyone with more money is now allowed to acquire whoever and whatever they want as far as 3rd part studios go, things will get bad for both sides. I have a strange feeling that if this was someone related to Sony complaining about Microsoft stopping Sony from acquiring someone like fromsoft, saying that they would allow Microsoft to get every new darksouls game, people would be livid with Sony for trying to drastically alter the landscape of the market and so on. I mean what Activision games are they relying on other than COD? Are third party games something that should be guaranteed anyway?
