Well that was..... interesting

Is that the one where the guys dick is an icicle?

I saw that movie a couple months back. Kinda ambivalent about it. Some of the performances are top notch, but the movie's premise and overall plot was kinda dumb.

It's a very fun movie, but you have to approach it with the understanding that it's very...silly. Campy is the word I'd use. There are some amazing serious scenes, but so much of the sense of humor is that tongue-in-cheek black comedy that most people either love or hate.

The discord between how serious the movie wanted to take itself and the dumb ham-fisted premise was quite funny throughout.

Like on one hand you have Tilda Swinton going full shakespeare, and then somewhere wrapped up inside the premise there is a decent analogy for the class divide, and then you have "infinity train running for all time" making zero sense

It is both, and there is nothing subtle about a train where each carriage gets progressively more opulent the further towards the top you go

So does the polar bear get to eat them

I liked it. There's a fan theory about it being a sequel to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I enjoy.

I just thought all of those analogies were just too blunt. The movie itself was snakes on a plane vibes, it was a fun movie, but just that.

His acting was good but his character development and actual dialog I thought were trash. I didn't actually like the dialog in this movie, again I thought it was just too blunt. The dialog didn't paint a picture, it just told you what it is.

I enjoyed most of the movie tho.

I enjoyed it.

I've heard some real good things about the TV show too.
