Designs (especially in Western games) generally focus less on blatant sex appeal than they did in the 90's/2000's, i.e. skimpy clothes and ridiculous proportions. But it's not like the average character is less attractive per se, and better visual technology makes them seem more real and less like a pixelated cartoon. It seems like many characters from modern games have much larger, more devoted followings of horny fans than I ever saw back in the day, even for Lara Croft. --- "A man chooses. It seemed like they went out of their way to make the women less attractive.
