There was definitely a very slight push for it, because at the time I didn't subscribe to any anime streaming services or anything, but I was still made aware of it. probably not a hot take, but the overarching mystery in every DR game is terrible. i accept it as a plot driver to get the class trials to happen, but every time the truth is revealed, it's awful and drags on hours and hours past its welcome. dr1 has no good characters. toko comes the closest. dr2 has about half the cast squarely good; maybe two thirds or so are at least passable. drv3-3's disappointing outcome is so hilariously disappointing that it loops around again and becomes doubly amazing because of it --- yet all azuarc of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ... I don't "hate" Shuichi, but Kaede shows more personality in her one case than he does all game.
