Theyre in Santa Clara.

TC, the Exploratorium on Pier 15 is pretty cool. From there you can walk/climb (stairs) up to Coit Tower and then walk down to Pier 39.

Go eat a bunch of food. I went out there for two weeks in December and had 0 bad meals. Personal recommendation of mine is Sunflower Garden, it's a Vietnamese place near Golden Gate Park with super fresh ingredients thst practically never gets crowded.

  • Golden Gate Park (Check out Stow Lake, De Young Museum, Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Garden, and Botanical Garden)
  • Eat at restaurants and hang out in bars around North Beach
  • Alcatraz
  • Coit Tower
  • Eat at some Mexican spots in the Mission (Personal recommendations La Taqueria, Farolito, and El Castillito)
  • Pier 39
  • Dolores Park (has some amazing views of the skyline of SF)
  • Buena Vista Park
  • Walk in the Embarcadero
  • Shop in Union Square
  • Hang around downtown

Ferry Building, also recommend taking the ferry into the city sometime depending on where you're coming from.
Haight-Ashbury
Chinatown
Little Tokyo
Fort Funston has some great views of both the ocean and city (and great place to walk your dog off-leash if you have one)
Bakeries - Arsicault is my favorite, but there are great ones all around the city. Tartine's a pretty famous one
I've also been wanting to walk up Twin Peaks on a clear day, but those have been pretty rare lately...

Rent a bike and ride thru Golden Gate Park from Haight out to Ocean Beach, making sure to stop and say hi to the bison
